Cranberry Bliss Balls – Easy GF Snack With Only 4 Ingredients

Back again with another bliss balls recipe! This time, a nutty, cranberry flavour that provides a great energy boost.

This recipe requires few ingredients, less than 30 minutes until they are ready and they store perfectly in the freezer – which makes them a perfect snack in a hurry.

Cranberry Bliss Ball – Ingredients

This is a super-simple recipe with only 4 ingredients:

  • Medjool dates – you can use the dried date variety , but you will need to soak them first so they aren’t too dry.
  • Nuts – we prefer to use cashews in these energy balls.
  • Cranberries
  • Salt – to taste

  • Food Processor

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup cashews
  • 10 medjool dates, pitted
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Blitz all ingredients together in a food processor.
  • Spoon tablespoon-sized mixture and shape into balls.
  • Allow to set in the fridge or freezer for around 20 minutes before serving.

You can blitz the ingredients finer than this if you prefer the cranberry balls to look less ‘nutty’. If by any chance, your mixture is too dry, add a teaspoon of water or coconut oil to help bind.

  1. Made these yesterday and they are yummy! My partner loves them too. So easy in the Thermomix. I did freeze at first and found it hard to bite into so put them in the fridge and they are perfect. Just wonder how long you should keep them in the fridge?

    1. Hi Tricia, glad you enjoyed the recipe! I keep them in the fridge if they will be used within the week, otherwise I normally keep them in the freezer and take out 15 minutes before they are required and they are good to go by then 🙂
