Equipment

Ingredients 

Plain Naan Bread:

  • 1 cup (240 g) plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup (125 g) gluten-free plain flour / all-purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons gluten-free baking powder
  • Pinch of salt (optional)

For Garlic Naan:

  • 2 tbsp (30 g) butter
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • fresh coriander/cilantro or parsley

Instructions

  • Mix yogurt, flour, and baking powder in a bowl until a sticky dough forms.
  • Add more flour if needed until you can form a ball.
  • Divide into 4 balls and flatten into oval shapes by hand.
  • Cook in a hot frying pan for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden and puffed.
  • For garlic naan, melt butter with garlic in a microwave. Brush naan, sprinkle with salt, and garnish with herbs.
